Project 16 - Providing a Bag of Essential Items to 203
families (702 persons) in Vavunia District.

Dear Friends,
Subsequent to request received from Divisional Secretary,
Vengalacheddikulam, Vavunia, Ramakrishna Mission (Ceylon Branch) has decided to
provide aid to the flood affected 203 families (702 persons) in 4 locations.
Minimum Aid targeted by way of food, sanitary items,
medicine, etc - LKR .6000/- per family.
Total estimated minimum cost ( US$ 50 per family )
US $ 10,150/-
The relief work is being done with the help of local
people and volunteers.
We earnestly appeal to the generous public to help us in
the Relief & Rehabilitation work for these people who are affected & displaced by the recent flood.
Action Taken
1.
Requested Govt Officials to provide more information about the families
for buy things according to the needs of each family.
2.
Planned to take the items to the families within 10 days.
3.
Quantity of Aid depends on the
contribution of Funds from Public.
