Swami Vivekananda visited Jaffna Hindu College on 24th & 25th January 1897 and gave lecture to thousands of well wishers assembled there.
Yogar Swami also attended the lecture on 25-01-1897.
1897 ஜனவரி 25ம் திகதியன்று இரவு ஏழு மணியளவில் யாழ்ப்பாணம் இந்துக்கல்லூரியில் சுவாமிஜி வேதாந்தம் என்னும் தலைப்பில் ஒருமணி நாற்பது வினாடிகள் நேரம் சொற்பொழிவு ஆற்றினார்.
