The economic crises in Sri Lanka made many

of its 22 million people beneath the poverty line.

Made many to lose jobs,.

Affected health care and food security.

The crisis has disrupted economic activities.
It reduced the households capacity to afford basic necessities,

including adequate nutrition.

Many low-income Sri Lankans are unable to afford 

adequate food because of skyrocketing prices.
