Expansion of Facilities
Ramakrishna Mission Welfare Centre, Urumpirai was inaugurated on 7th September, 2011 after the end of the war.
Bhajans, Sunday Religious School, Celebrations, Spiritual Retreats, Guided Meditation, Personality Development Programmes, Free Coaching Classes & Welfare Programmes are being organized for the local people.
The Welfare Center has competed 12 years of Service and the existing building has facing the following problems:
1. Shortage of space of the existing building;
2. Unfavorable location - adjacent to busy Road;
3. Unbearable heat due to Low Roof with cement sheets.
It is planned to construct a Hall / Classrooms (20 feet x 60 feet) behind the existing building away from the road. The Rear area is cooler than the front area. This is away from the road and less noisy to conduct classes and programmes
